Thanksgiving Patience

Well, it's been a while...don't the holidays get crazy?! But it's a good crazy. I love the holiday season! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We stayed in Arizona and celebrated with my family. It's usually about 75 degrees during our Thanksgiving feast, but this year we got a little drizzle and it was unusually cool. The weather made it feel more like the holidays (and the extra humidity made for more fluffy dinner rolls!) Matt and I were in charge of decorating for Thanksgiving, so we made these turkeys out of pumpkins.

The highlight of Thanksgiving for me was when I was whipping the cream for dessert and my nephew innocently asked if he could lick the beaters when I was done. You can see him patiently waiting to get his treat!

Hope you all had a wonderful turkey day too!

That turkey is awesome. The two best parts of Thanksgiving in one, it's like a turkey-pumpkin-pie!
